Kylie Jenner reveals 'misunderstanding' of single face treatment after surgery
Kylie Jenner and some of her sisters had a powerful conversation about beauty standards on the July 20 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
On the July 20 episode of The Kardashians, viewers watched as Kylie Jenner helped Kourtney Kardashian do her makeup, sparking a conversation about how the Internet has helped shape beauty standards and expectations. Khloe Kardashian was also present in this conversation. “We feel like we have a lot of influence, but what do we do with that power?” Kylie wondered. You see a lot of young girls on the internet now who are completely edited. I went through that too, so I feel like I'm in a better place now, but other people can instill that kind of insecurity in you.
Khloe admitted that she never felt insecure about herself until she heard what other people were saying about her. "I was fat and I wore a bodycon, but I couldn't tell you otherwise," she noted. "Society gave me this insecurity." He added: "From the moment I was on TV, I fell apart. It's not enough because I'm not like my sisters. Then I started to change my appearance.
In her confession, Kylie revealed that she loves herself more than people realize. "One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was a very insecure kid and had multiple surgeries to change my face," she says. "That's a lie. I just got fillers. I don't want that to be part of my story. I always want people to love themselves."
Meanwhile, Khloe admitted that she might not have even gotten a nose job if her mom, Kris Jenner, hadn't commented on her nose so much. Afterward, Kylie told Khloe and Kourtney some shocking things about insecurities they didn't even realize had been instilled in them.
It wasn't until her daughter Stormi Webster was born that Kylie learned to hold her ears. "He listened to me and let me know how much I loved him."
