Elon Musk and ex Grimes vacationing in Portofino with Child X and her son

Elon Musk and Grimes have not been photographed together, but are believed to be staying at a luxury resort.

Elon Musk and Grimes are in Portofino, Italy with their kids this week, but it's unclear if they've crossed paths. According to the Daily Mail, the former couple, who have a 3-year-old son X.A.Xii (X for short) and a 1-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideral Musk (aka Y), were spotted having fun with several children at the same luxury hotel in the gorgeous seaside town, but not together. In the photos you can see here, the 35-year-old musician can be seen walking with X on Tuesday, July 24, while the Tesla and SpaceX founder also had lunch with his 17-year-old son Saxon.

The former couple dated from 2018 to 2022, but were never seen together in public. The two are believed to be in Italy for the wedding of their mutual friend, venture capitalist Chamas Palihapitiya and his girlfriend Natalie Dump. Grimes and Ilan's daughter has not been photographed in Italy either.

Ilan shares a Saxon life with ex-husband Justin Wilson. Saxon has triplets and Ilan and Justin have twin brothers. The former couple's first child, Nevada, sadly died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 2002 at 10 weeks old. In addition, Elon welcomed his youngest twins in November 2021 with Neuralink Project Manager Siobhan Garritt. The twins were born months before Grimes and Elon gave birth to their second child via surrogate.

Grimes and the Twitter owner dressed quite differently during their trip to Italy. While Elon looked casual in a brown t-shirt and black pants, Grimes turned heads in a floor-length bright orange dress. This elegant gown featured a turtleneck, long sleeves and side slits. She paired it with chunky boots and added some sparkle with a studded gold necklace. Grimes' platinum blonde hair fluttered in the wind as she chased after her son.

X seemed to enjoy walking around famous places with his mother. He walked confidently
