Angus Cloud didn't leave a suicide note and probably died like Mac Miller
A new report claims that the Euphoria actor died of an overdose.
Angus Cloud reportedly did not leave a suicide note when he died unexpectedly on July 31. Law enforcement sources say the young actor did not write to his loved ones and new evidence suggests the actor may have died. An accidental overdose, according to a new report from TMZ. Toxicology results on Angus' body are still pending.
After Angus died, audio of a 911 call made by his mother, Lisa Cloud, indicated that she believed he suffered a "possible overdose." When the family announced his death, some speculated that the Euforia star may have committed suicide. "It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to a wonderful man today. Angus is special to all of us in many ways as an artist, friend, brother and son," he said. "He buried his father last week and struggled with the loss. His best friend, his father. Angus is in good mental health. He spoke openly about his battle and we hope his death can remind others that they are not alone and do not have to fight alone in silence."
After Angus' death, Lisa took to social media to post about Angus' suicide. "Nonetheless, my son's last day was a happy one, although deeply saddened by the sudden death of his father from mesothelioma," he wrote on Facebook, according to Deadline. "Social media posts say the death was intentional. I want you to know that this is not the case.
Angus' death is similar to that of rapper Mac Miller, who died of an accidental overdose on the 26th of 2018. The singing rapper died of "mixed drug poisoning" including cocaine, fentanyl and alcohol.
Before Angus' death, there were rumors with fans wanting to see Angus play Mac in a biopic about the mayoral rapper, but when asked about it, the Euphoria star said he had no plans to take on the role. "I don't think I will try to take someone's life and legacy and do it again in 2022," he said while talking to Etalk. he said. "The man is a legend and he will remain.
